Part 1: Presentation
You will teach the rest of the class about your system in a 5
​ -10 minute presentation and
activity​. Key questions that your presentation/activity must answer:
a. What is the main function of your system?
○ (How do all your organs work together to help the body?)
b. What are the major organs in the system?
○ (What are the organs? Where are they located? What do they do?)
c. What is one incurable disease that affects your system?
○ (What does the disease do? How common is it? Who can get it?)
Other things you might include: some unique or creative student involvement that helps
demonstrate your system, fun facts or weird and interesting details.
Part 2: Information for your peers
Each group will create a half-page (digital) information sheet that we will compile and share via
our class blog: ​http://www.sciencetrek.ca/blog​. You should include a concise form of the
answers to the questions above (what you presented on), and you must also include a
​ diagram
of the system​ with labels of major parts/organs.
Email your information to ​[email protected]​ before you present and we will share the
info.
Part 3: Quiz
Each group will create a short quiz (+answers) on their system. The quiz will be 5
​ questions
long​. We will compile all student questions and have a class quiz following all of the student
presentations.

​ ultiple choice, matching, or fill in the blank (word list included)​.
● The questions should be on key points and not some random piece of data or something
that you just mentioned in passing
● You must provide an answer key to your questions, and obviously, don’t share the
questions with your classmates before the quiz!
