VICTORIA FALLS AND AFRICAN RIVERS
APRIL 24 - 27, 2015
AN OPTIONAL SAFARI EXTENSTION
Following
THE BOTSWANA WILDERNESS SAFARI
Overview
You are invited to continue your safari adventure and join David Anderson
with a visit to two amazing river locations, and the famous Victoria Falls.
This adventure begins on the northern border of Botswana with 3 nights in
the Chobe Forest Reserve on the Chobe River. This area is home to the
single greatest concentration of elephants on our planet. In addition to the
elephants, Chobe has some of the finest game viewing in all of Africa and
some of the finest riverside sunsets.
After three days on the Chobe River in the Chobe Forest Reserve we will
travel to Zimbabwe for two nights at another spectacular river location,
Victoria Falls on the legendary Zambezi River.
At Victoria Falls we are offering you the option to stay at one of two lodges,
the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge, or the newly opened Victoria Falls Safari Club,
both located on the same great property.

CHOBE FOREST RESERVE – VICTORIA FALLS
This morning we will leave the Chobe Forest Reserve and be transferred by
road across the border into Zimbabwe. We will have two days to explore and
photograph Victoria Falls. Victoria Falls is one of the greatest natural
wonders on our planet. As the Zambezi River drops 300 feet over a milewide sheer basalt fault line, a cloud of spray is created which can be seen up
to 20 miles away! There is a bridge across the mighty Zambezi just yards
from the falls, which forms the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe and
now provides easy access between the two countries.
Victoria Falls Safari Lodge provides luxury accommodation in Victoria Falls.
Set high on a natural plateau, the westward facing Victoria Falls Safari Lodge
borders the Zambezi National Park & is just four kilometers from the
thundering Victoria Falls, Southern Africa's foremost attraction.
Enjoying uninterrupted views of spectacular African sunsets and year round
game at its on-site waterhole, accommodation at Victoria Falls Safari Lodge
is ideally positioned to offer the most discerning traveler a taste of Africa at
its best.
During your stay here you will have the option of a guided tour of the falls
and a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River. (Both included in your safari
price)
