up the process of installing switch tails on a Nortel Networks
Meridian 1. Not only will it save 50% or more on labor and

The JCS Cable Assembly is a replacement
to the standard twenty-five pair cables
used to cable out a Nortel Networks
Meridian 1. Before the release of the JCS
Cable each IPE module required sixteen
individual twenty-five pair cables. This
was a very difficult, labor-intensive, timeconsuming task. For instance, if a
technician installed a Meridian 1 Option
81C with seven IPE modules, the
installation would require one hundred
and twelve cables. The process of
installing this many cables takes days,
sometimes weeks, and allows more room
for human error. This often results in
wasted time troubleshooting during cut
over.
The JCS Cable will simplify this process
and eliminate mistakes. Because of its
unique design, only two JCS Cables per
IPE module are required, not sixteen, just
two. The JCS Cable is uniquely designed
to match up to the back of the IPE
module for a quick and easy connection.
Each amphenol comes clearly marked and
the correct length screws are already
installed.

Option 11 Cable Assembly, a replacement
to the standard twenty-five pair cables
used to cable out a Nortel Networks
Meridian 1 Option 11C. Before the
release of the JCS Option 11 Cable, each
cabinet required ten individual twenty-five
pair cables. This was a labor-intensive,
time-consuming task. For instance, if a
technician installed a five cabinet Option
11C, this would require a total of fifty
twenty five pair cables. The JCS Option
11 Cable will simplify this process and
eliminate mistakes. Because of its unique
design, only one JCS Cable assembly per
Option 11C cabinet is required, not ten,
just one. The JCS Option 11 Cable is
uniquely designed to match up to the base
of the Option 11C cabinet for a quick and
easy connection.
The three major benefits of these cables
