THE BACKBONE OF THE LIBERTYLINK® SYSTEM
Whether it’s glyphosate resistance or other
herbicide groups, as the only Group 10 herbicide
for canola, Liberty® herbicide is an excellent
resistance management tool for your farm.
Additionally, you get flexible rate options, the
ability to perform a second pass when required
and affordable access to the weed control
system that has backed every top-yielding*
InVigor® hybrid canola.
• Fast-acting control of broadleaf and grassy weeds
KEEPING YOUR OPTIONS OPEN
• Effective resistance management tool
for growers with glyphosate or other
resistance issues
• Outstanding yield performance and crop safety
with no risk of carry-over
• Two flexible rate options (standard 1.35 L/ac. or
higher labelled rate 1.62 L/ac.)
• Opportunity for a second pass, when required
• Ability to tank mix with Centurion for increased
grassy weed control
Liberty provides growers with the ability to
customize their weed control to suit their
individual needs.
FLEXIBLE 2-PASS BENEFITS
1-Pass Liberty – 1.35 L/ac.
• Increased yield benefits from early weed removal
• Apply during favourable conditions, with
smaller/newly emerged weeds that are
actively growing
• Enhanced control of second flush weeds
Liberty tank mixed with Centurion
2-Pass Options
• For enhanced grassy weed control,
tank mix Liberty with Centurion® herbicide
(recommended rate of 50 mL/ac.) and apply
approximately 20 days after seeding, for
enhanced grassy weed control
INCREASED RATE OF LIBERTY ADVANTAGE - 1.62 L/AC.
Higher
Labelled Rate – 1.62 L/ac.

• Spray in warm, sunny conditions (>10°C). The
warmer (but not dry) the better
• Use a minimum 10 gallons of water per acre
to ensure complete coverage (including higher
labelled rate)
• Apply when weeds are newly emerged and
actively growing
• Avoid application during poor moisture,
low humidity and heavy dew
• Rainfast in four hours
• When using 2-Pass option optimize coverage
by reversing the application route on the
second pass
• Use nozzles designed to achieve a medium to
slightly coarse droplet size (approximately 200
to 350 microns in size). Avoid larger, higher
output nozzles that increase droplet size
(greater than 350 microns in size) as they can
potentially reduce coverage and weed control.
• Avoid very fine droplet sizes (less than 150
microns) as the potential for drift increases
dramatically
• Consult your nozzle manufacturer’s guide
to obtain information on optimal pressure
operating ranges to achieve target droplet size
• Excessive speeds should be avoided as they
can sacrifice weed coverage and increase the
potential for drift from wind shear
Optimum Coverage Example: 11003 or 8003 flat fan nozzles
applying 10 gal./ac. at 40 psi and 7.5 mph.
* Suppression.
** For flushing cleavers, use two passes of Liberty.
*** S uppression only. Tank mix with Centurion for control.
Note: F or tillered grasses or heavy weed pressure, use Centurion as a tank mix partner
or use a second application of Liberty.
