The property is zoned Single Detached Dwelling Districts (RS-1). WHAT IS DEVELOPMENT VARIANCE PERMIT DVP00609 ABOUT? A development variance permit is required to allow a minimum front yard setback at 13 feet (3.97 metres), a front yard projection at 6 feet (1.83 metres) and a garage height of 20 feet (6.1 metres) and 2 storeys. The DVP would be a first step to consolidating 705 and 709 Cumberland Street (outlined in bold on the adjacent map) back into one property and the removal of the related heritage bylaws.
