Task Three: Listen to me
Create a speech for the British public
about the dangers of social media and
young people. You will need to make sure
you use persuasive devices, have 3 strong
ideas and ambitious vocabulary.
Remember your speech must have impact
and make people think!
Task Four: Leaflet: Do you know how to
recycle?
Your task is to design a leaflet for adults
about how to begin recycling.
Make your leaflet by folding an A4 sheet
into three and write on all six panels. You
will need to think about persuasive
language and presentation which is
suitable for adults-not children. Make sure
you include official logos, top tips and
contact details for local recycling plant.
The leaflet can be created on a computer
or by hand.
Task Five: Its Game Time!
You will have two weeks to work on this task.
Think about how you could use the word ‘The World’ as the basis of a board
game. You will need to create the board game and the instructions on how to
play.
It could be a chase game – if you land on a particular square, there could be a
consequence or you might have fun making a game similar to Monopoly or
Cluedo or any other board game you love to play.
