Voyager Project have been
enjoying this fall . The semester is coming to a close
and we are looking forward
to our Holiday season. Our
teachers have been working very hard to provide a
quality program to all of
our students.
The Voyager staff have
been adjusting to our new
location at the Nothside
Campus. Students are
transported from
Pasemann to the Old Board
located at Northside.
We have been implementing our Voyager Project at
Pasemann Elementary
which is funded by our KDK
-Harman Foundation grant
helping students in the 3rd
grade with the STAAR test
Thank you for the privilege
of serving your children
and the community.

Voyager Project
Because of the change in locaon students and
teachers in the Voyager Project have had to make
some adjustments this semester. The late start to
the project has caused things to move along quickly, but teacher efforts and student engagement has
been great. Everyone is giving their best effort to
improve their reading, math and science skills.
Mid-year parent and teacher surveys demonstrate
that our students are showing some definite improvements in class and at home. A majority of parents surveyed have seen be'er homework compleon and a be'er a(tude toward school. The majority of teachers surveyed give their Voyager students high marks in turning in homework, parcipang in class and improved classroom performance.
As the year goes on we hope to see connuous
academic improvement in our Voyager group. The
Voyager staff would like to thank you for allowing
your child to be part of this program.

Have you ever made ice cream? Do you want to learn?
Well, Voyager students will be honing their skills making ice
cream during Winter Fest, and probably freezing themselves as
the weather changes from warm summer to a winter blast. They
will be joined by their parents for ice cream (which the Voyager
students will make), cookies and sleigh races to celebrate the end
of the year and to show parents what they have been doing as
Voyager students.
They will also be treated to games and pizza at Gattieland in
Taylor for working hard towards improving their academic skills
and staying focused on learning the math, spelling and reading
skills they so need. Pizza and games at Gattieland is a wonderful
way to finish the year and get ready for the new year, with more
learning and tests to come. Merry Christmas and Happy New
Year!
