Day 4 Day 15 Rio de Janeiro Cusco The contrasts of indigenous styles and the modern western world give this city its rare beauty. Half day city tour inclusive visit some ruins around Cusco, e.g. Sacsayhuaman. The beauty and monumental scale of this magnificent Inca fortress does not fail to impress its visitors. Day 5 Cusco - Puno Full day panoramic drive to Puno on the shores of magnificent Lake Titicaca (seat-in). This amazing deep blue lake is the largest lake in South America and the largest in the world above 2000 m. On the way visit the Andahuaylillas with its Sistine Chapel of America, the temple of Wiracocha Racchi and Puka Pukara en route incl. lunch. Day 6 Puno Day tour to the manmade islands of Uros and the unique culture of the Taquile Island (seat-in). Many of the inhabitants of the Uros islands still practice the old traditions of fishing, trapping birds and living on the lake plants. The narrow island of Taquile is home to numerous pre-Inca and Inca ruins and Inca terracing. Day 7 Puno - Lima Flight to Lima and hotel transfer. City tour inclusive visit to Larco Herrera Museum. This unique museum contains a large collection of pottery from Inca and pre-Inca civilizations as well as erotic art pieces. Day 8 Lima Day at leisure for own activities. Day 9 Lima - Iguassú Flight to Iguassú and hotel transfer. The Iguazu falls are made up of 275 separate waterfalls, providing a sensational sight! Producing vast sprays of water, it is one of the most spectacular waterfalls in the world. Day 10 Iguassú Visit to Iguazu National Park, including the Devil’s Throat with the highest continuous fall.
