11. Californian Wente Beyer Ranch Zinfandel
Ripe, sweet-fruited nose of berry fruit, plums and pepper with
subtle hints of vanilla. Full, rounded tannins make for very easy
drinking. This is a good food wine, especially with rich dishes.
It is ideal with spiced game, stuffed roast pork or lamb.
05. French Domaine Long Depaquit Chablis
Bursting with mineral precision and finesse, this classic
Chablis has a very pure nose of white flowers and flint.
