Niles Ranked ‘Americas Best’ by Business Week

Niles has been ranked as one of
the best places to live in
Bloomberg Businessweek's fifth
annual survey.
In a study of towns, villages and
small cities, the group reviewed
over 5,000 places in the U.S. and

This year four $1,000 scholarships will be awarded
to graduating eighth grade students and four $3,000
scholarships will be awarded to graduating high
school seniors. The applications are judged on
service to the community and school, response to
the essay, awards & honors, school transcripts, and
letters of recommendation. The student should
emphasize their areas of strength, as the committee
will equally consider all candidates.
Deadline is Friday, February 25, 2011. Apply Today!
A presentation of the 2011 scholarships will be
made at the Eighth Annual Niles Night of Roses
Dinner on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at the White
Eagle Banquets. All scholarship recipients will
receive a complimentary dinner and families are
encouraged to attend.

The Niles Chamber Dollars for Scholars program is an all volunteer chapter of the national Scholarship America organization. This
committee raises money to grant scholarships
to local students and to the children of chamber member employees. This is a great way to

local schools and give back to the community.

This event is the Chamber’s biggest fund-raiser. Committee members work closely with
