Do not drink before April 15, 2005
boil 1.5 gallons cold water
7 lbs. Munton's extra light dry malt extract
1 oz. Galena hops
add malt extract and boiling hops
boil 75 minutes
transfer into large carboy while diluting
to 5 gallons with cold water
1 packet Safale S-04 ale yeast
add yeast
ferment at 16°C (60°F) until bubbling slows (6 days)
0.25 ounces East Kent Goldings hops (v. 8.0)
0.125 ounces Cascade hops (v. 8.1)
0.125 ounces Chinook hops (v. 8.2)
0.125 ounces East Kent Goldings hops (v. 8.3)
0.125 ounces Fuggle hops (v. 8.4)
0.125 ounces Northern Brewer hops (v. 8.5)
0.125 ounces Target hops (v. 8.6)
We all should know that diversity makes for a rich
tapestry, and we must understand that all the
siphon into large, clean carboy to homogenize the liquid
