ONLINE PICTURE CONTEST
Objective
The main objective of the online picture contest is to offer people the opportunity to show their creativity
by transmitting an expression through an original picture. Following the guideline of Chef Paul Bocuse
and his passion for cuisine, the theme chosen is a famous sentence that he uses to say:
“Happiness is in the kitchen”
The online picture contest will be set up through our Alliance Facebook page. This contest will stimulate
the online community, leverage and increase traffic on our social networks, and make the “buzz” on the
web. We truly want to raise the Worldwide Alliance brand awareness!
Organization
The online picture contest will be set up through our Alliance Facebook page. The contest is open to
every person who is passionate by culinary arts and hospitality in every country of the world. Only one
participation per person accepted (i.e. same name, same Facebook account). The process is simple:
Theme: “Happiness is in the kitchen”
1 saying = 1 photo = 1 explanation
How to participate?
 Being of the age of majority
 Having a valid email address
 Having a personal Facebook account with such address
 Following the Worldwide Alliance Facebook page
 Taking a picture to illustrate the theme “Happiness is in the kitchen”
 Posting the picture on the Worldwide Alliance Facebook page
 Explaining in a few words in English how the picture reflects perfectly the Chef Paul Bocuse saying
 Putting the explanation as a comment (25-30 words) and adding #WWAcontest to it
 Participating from November 14th to November 23rd 2016 noon (UTC/GMT +1)
Evaluation
STEP 1
PRE-SELECTION:
From November 14th to November 23rd 2016, every photo posted on the Alliance Facebook page
will be submitted to the public vote. Facebook followers will have to “like” and “comment” the
pictures they appreciate the most. The 5 more “liked” pictures will qualify for the final step.
STEP 2
FINAL:
A jury composed of Institut Paul Bocuse staff members and chefs will evaluate and assess the 5
selected pictures. The winner will be announced on November 25th 2016 on the Alliance
Facebook page.
Prize
An official certificate signed by Chef Paul Bocuse himself
