the
Crooked
Crocodile
by Sean E Avery
"I’m in a very bad mood!
Go and get me some food!
if you get me nothing to eat,
I am going to gobble your feet!”
The Crooked Crocodile growled at me.
BIG
Crooked Crocodile.
He went CRUNCH, CRUNCH, CRUNCH!
I quickly stacked food in a
pile;
And hoped it was enough for the
As he greedily GOBBLED his lunch.
But had he had enough to eat?
Or was he going to GOBBLE my feet?
“You call that a meal?!
You can’t be for real!
I’m STILL in a very bad mood!
Go and get me some MORE food!
if you get me nothing to eat,
I am going to gobble your feet!”
The Crooked Crocodile growled at me.
BIGGER pile;
Crooked Crocodile.
He went CRUNCH, CRUNCH, CRUNCH!
I quickly stacked food in a
And hoped it was enough for the
As he greedily GOBBLED his lunch.
BIGGEST pile;
Crooked Crocodile.
He went CRUNCH, CRUNCH, CRUNCH!
I quickly stacked food in the
And hoped it was enough for the
As he greedily GOBBLED his lunch.
But had he had enough to eat?
Or was he going to GOBBLE my feet?
“You call that a meal?!
You can’t be for real!
“PLEASE CROOKED CROCODILE, don’t eat my feet!
You’ve eaten ALL there is to eat!”
“It’s too late for all that!”
The Crooked Crocodile spat,
“I didn’t have enough to eat,
So now I’m coming to gobble
your tasty...
little...
feet!”
But the Crooked Crocodile had gotten too FAT,
And couldn’t move from the spot where he sat!
I LAUGHED and LAUGHED at the roly-poly crocodile;
I think his feet-eating days are done for a while!
