KMT 7 : Paki Background Problem 2y = -4x + 8 -3x + 9y = -27

KMT 7 : Paki
Background
This building was built for many purposes. It contains 28 classrooms
and labs and many other rooms, constructed for other reasons. Paki was
dedicated on November 4, 1960. Constructed as a three-story building,
Paki has an area of 38,944 square feet, and was a $979,359 project.
Interestingly enough, the architect was Theodore Vierra, an alumni of the
schools, graduate of the class 1919. It was built by E.E. Black, Ltd.When
the building was first used, there were 566 boys enrolled into it. There
was a lounge, recreation room, showeres, and lavatories for just the day
students enrolled.
Problem
In math class, there were a couple of boys playing around. Their
teacher, Mr. Stanley, decided to assign them a problem of the day. He
told them that he wanted to know what the solution of system would be
if he gave the boys two equations. The boys, unfortunately, had to take
extra time after school to figure this out. Our mission today is to figure
out the same problem.
These were the systems:
2y = -4x + 8
-3x + 9y = -27
Solution
The first thing we need to do is change all of the systems to the formula
of y= mx + b.
2y = -4x + 8
-3x + 9y = -27
Now that we have our equations, we can finally graph it. Here is what the
graph should look like.
Our Solution is
(3, -2)
