1.- AIM OF THE REPORT
This Classification report defines the Reaction to Fire classification assigned to the manufactured
insulating product of flexible elastomeric foam referenced by the applicant as “KAIFLEX ST”” on
the basis of the procedures established in the standard UNE-EN 13501-1:2007+A1:2010 “Fire
classification of construction products and building elements-Part 1: Classification using data from
reaction to fire tests”.
2.- DETAILS OF CLASSIFIED PRODUCT
2.1.- GENERAL
The product defined by the applicant as “KAIFLEX ST” defined as Manufactured insulating
product of flexible elastomeric foam according to the corresponding technical specification.
2.2.- DESCRIPTION
The product “KAIFLEX ST” is described as insulation jacket of elastomeric foam with an
internal diameter of 22 mm, a thickness of 50 mm, a density of 50 kg/m3, of black colour
and smooth aspect.
