Use a PIN
When using your Debit Card at your
local retailer you have the choice of
using your card either as a Debit Card
or Credit Card. Try using it as a Debit
Card and enter your PIN instead of
signing .
A PIN transaction protects your
account because a PIN based
transaction is processed and
confirmed through the bank. Also,
PIN transactions are generally
processed faster than signature
transactions.
Don’t forget your PIN!
Memorize it well and don’t write it
down ANYWHERE. Keep your PIN a
secret. Don’t ever give your PIN over
the phone and realize no one from
the bank would ever ask you for it.
Set up Alerts
Be smart with emails

set up alerts. Alerts help you keep
track of activity on your account as it
happens.
Never send confidential information
via email or in response to an email.
Amboy Bank will never ask
you for an account number
or PIN via email.
With alerts, you get an email or text
message. If you question a
transaction call us right away

and never to ask for account
information.
