Oxbo seed harvesters have been the seed

solutions. Oxbo proudly worked with
researchers from multiple seed companies
to develop and introduce the 9820 plot
combine. Developed through years
of testing and collaboration with seed
researchers, the 9820 is a ground up plot
combine built for seed research teams.
Every detail of the Oxbo 9820 was
designed to focus on safety, efficiency,
plot-to-plot purity, precise data, high
capacity grain storage, rapid clean
out, and ease of transport. With these
important aspects in mind, the 9820
leverages an industry exclusive process
known as SmartStaging Technology to
cover all the important functions of plot
harvesting.
Once a plot is harvested by Oxbo’s Soft
Touch corn heads, plot conveyance
is managed with Oxbo’s exclusive
SmartStaging Technology. With
integrated controls, operators oversee
SmartStaging to ensure ears are
conveyed through an all new and
exclusive staging, threshing, data
collection, and grain handling process.
The SmartStaging features of the 9820
enable us to provide research teams
with the highest quality data and most
productive harvest available.
The 9820 stages grain in three separate
staging areas to ensure sample purity
and industry leading plot cycle times.
Most importantly, Oxbo strives to deliver
world-class uptime to research teams
across global markets by supporting
equipment with readily available parts and
in-field service support.
The Oxbo 9820 SmartStaging Technology
leverages three separate staging areas.
As the operator advances the combine through the plots, the integrated control system
advances the plots softly and efficiently through harvest, threshing, separating, and data
analysis without air conveyance.
Stage #1 the Rotor Feed Augers or RFAs
The grain is stored in the RFAs prior to threshing
Stage #2 the Sample Auger Hoppers
The clean grain is staged prior to going into the tri-hopper
Stage #3 the Tri-Hopper
above the HarvestMaster
The grain is staged until the HarvestMaster
is ready to perform data analysis
The process continues with each plot advancing stage by
stage throughout the cycle as plots are harvested.
