American Girl and Manners- June 12th
12:00 pm-2:00 pm
Student Ages: 5- 11
Course: Learn basic manners (table, phone, etc.) while playing with your favorite doll
Supplies Needed: Bring your favorite doll.
Ultimate Frisbee – June 14th
1:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Student Ages: 6- 16
Supplies Needed: none
Course: Teach children to play Ultimate Frisbee
Ultimate Frisbee is a super, fun, non-contact team sport played by participants with a Frisbee.
In this fast paced game, points are scored by passing the disc in the air to a teammate in
the opposing end.
Mini Herb Gardens - June 15th
10:00 am - 11:30 am
Student Ages: 5- 12
Course: Children will assemble a small herb garden planter and receive instructions on how to care for
the plants and different ways to use the herbs
Supplies Needed: Comfortable clothes that they can get dirty
Soccer Workshop (am) - June 16th

Course: soccer drills and free play

Course: Children will use various materials to help set up race courses. These games will be full of
imagination and challenges, but most of all FUN!

Fun With Cats- June 26th

Course: Learn how to select and care for a cat. Meow!
Supplies Needed: Dress with long pants. Can’t be allergic to cats!
Building and Painting a Birdhouse-June 27th

Course: Have fun building, painting and just plain creating your own birdhouse. t

Garden Stepping Stones- June 28th

Course: Making your own stepping stone. Concrete will be poured into molds with decorative
embellishments.

Creating with Acrylics and Pastels- July 6th

Course: Create a scene with pastels or acrylic paint.
Supplies Needed: Bring your own pastels if you prefer. Wear old clothes or bring a smock or cover up.
*This activity is limited to 10 children.
Zen Doodle- July 7th

Student Ages: 6- 13
Course: Do you like to doodle? Create a work of art by doodling with interlocking patterns. It’s a casual
drawing class that does not require specific artistic skills.

Beginners Landscape Watercolor Painting- July 10th

Student Ages: 9 - 13
Course: Children will learn the basics of painting in watercolor, the kind of watercolor paint/paper to use
as well as basic techniques.
Supplies Needed: a smock or cover up
Apple Pie Making- July 11th

Student Ages: 7 - 12
Course: Learn to make an apple pie. YUM!
Children will proudly take their mini homemade pie home to enjoy!
Supplies Needed: An apron, a pastry cutter and a rolling pin.
Cool Crafts- July 13th

Student Ages: 5 - 12 (Younger children are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.)
Course: Have fun creating! A variety of craft activities from easy to moderate skill levels

Course: Make bracelets, necklaces, earrings and pins—easy to moderate skill level

Course: Kickball!!!
Supplies Needed: Kickball is all about fun! Lace up your kicks and get ready to score! Come have a kickin’
good time with us at our 2nd annual kickball championship!
Volleyball- July 21st

Course: Get your game on! With the emphasis on the fundamental skills of volleyball, the children will
take the skills they learn and enjoy the game!

‘FUN IN THE SON’ BIBLE CAMP
JULY 24 - 28
9:00 am - 12:30 pm
This fun Christ-centered Bible camp is for children ages 5-12. They will experience ‘Fun in the Son’
through Bible stories, music, arts and crafts, games and other activities. This Bible camp is a
perfect opportunity for your children to step into their own relationship with God.

Cake/Dessert Decorating- August 1st 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm
Student Ages: 7-13
Course: Learn basic cake decorating techniques with icing, fondant and other edible embellishments.

Weird Science- August 3rd

Student Ages: 6-12 (Younger children are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult).
Course: Children can participate in fun and exciting science experiments.

Lego Creations- August 4th

Course: With a large collection of Legos, the children will have fun creating and building simple to
complicated structures, vehicles and objects.

Dinosaur Adventures- August 8th

Student Ages: 5-11 (Younger children are welcome but need to be accompanied by an adult.)
Course: Everything dinosaurs…ROAR-R-R-R!!

SUMMER DRAMA CAMP AUGUST 14-18
8:30 am - 4:00 pm (Ages 5-12 yrs.)
We will provide a week-long day camp that will be filled with a wide array of fun and challenging
activities including arts and crafts, music, cooking, sports, local field trips, games and, most of all,
drama. The large drama portion of the camp, led by Roberta Gore, the theatrical director at the
former North Carroll H.S. and Francis Scott Key H.S. for over 25 years, is always a fun and exciting
experience for the children. A special ‘Amazing Race’ activity is planned as an entertaining finish to
the week.
Our camp goal is to provide school age children, ages 5 – 12 years, with an enjoyable, safe camp
experience, where they can form friendships, build self-confidence and enjoy a week of summer fun.
