Extended Learning Activity
“Famous Buildings”
Over the next 5 weeks, your project is
all about ‘Famous Buildings’ around the
world, as we are learning about these in
your Art lessons this term. We would like this work to go on
display!
We need to be able to see 1 piece of work for each week.
(Either in your extended learning book or on a separate, well
presented, piece of paper.)
Examples of the work you could produce can be seen below:
* Fact files of different buildings.
* Find out which buildings took the longest time to build.
* Find out the names and measurements of the tallest
buildings in the world.
* Design a new building for your ‘Dream School’
* Research football stadiums.
* Draw/sketch your favourite famous building.
* Make a 3D model of a building.
* Research what an architect is and what they
do.
* PowerPoint presentation.
We are looking forward to seeing all of the different work
on Wednesday 24th May.
