an academic year. Students must take
a minimum of 12 credits to maintain
fulltime status.

for their courses at JCU. Students are

Applicants are required to have a
minimum 2.75 GPA, be in good
academic standing, and have no
outstanding probationary issues.

COSTS OF ATTENDANCE
ACCOMMODATIONS & MEALS
JCU offers two options for apartment style housing, awarded on a first come, first serve basis, based
on housing application date. Apartments house 2-9
students each, and include a kitchen, shared living
space and shared facilities. Gianicolo Residence is an
alcohol-free residence option. Optional tiered meal
plans are available for purchase as well. Info on meal

BSU Direct Enroll
VISAS
A student visa is required for all US citizens, as
well as a permit to stay. JCU’s admissions Office guides students through the visa process, as
well as further assistance upon arrival to obtain a
permit to stay. BSU students will need to make
appointments with the Italian Consulate in Boston to get the visa prior to travel to Italy.

LOCATION
JCU’s campus is located in the heart of Rome, in the historic Trastevere neighborhood, just
across the river from some of Rome’s greatest attractions. JCU has two campuses: Guarini and
Tiber, with just a short walk between the two.
