Please ensure you provide all the information required as any errors or omissions may
delay your application.
Please note that if the child has an infectious disease, this service is not suitable and you
should seek advice from your health worker or doctor’s surgery.
Only nappies and associated changing waste can be collected through the Hygiene
Service for Children. This service is not available for stoma bags, catheters, disposable
bedding, dressings etc. If you place any other items in the hygiene bags, they will not be
collected and you may be removed from the service.
If you need to postpone the service at any time, e.g. taking an extended holiday, please
let us know. The service can be resumed at any time by contacting C2C on 029 2087

A free app which will advise Cardiff residents on the type of waste
to put out for collection is now available to download.
The Binfo App is compatible with all tablet devices and
smartphones and once postcode details have been entered it will
remind users about the type of waste that will be collected in their
area that week. The app will also provide guidance on the correct
content for each type of waste container and also advise residents about disruption
to services due to Bank Holidays. Users can also use the app to set collection
reminder alerts at a time that suits them.
If you do not use a smart phone or tablet, other reminder services are available.
