My dad says that being a mechanic is like playing with a big, heavy puzzle. I like to watch him work with machines because I learn how to use tools and it helps me to be a better problem-solver. Teacher Model- Revise WK 5 My dad is a clever puzzle-solver. He is a Diesel motor mechanic. He fixes the motors in big, industrial machines that are used to manufacture and finish carpets. My dad figures out what is wrong with the motors by taking them apart and finding the part that is broken. Then he has to put the motor back together with the new part. Sometimes, he repairs the part rather than replace it with a new one. That saves the factory money. My dad learned to repair Diesel motors at technical school.
