Hospitals, major companies and government offices have been hit by a massive
wave of cyber attacks across the globe that seize control of computers until the
victims pay a ransom. The attack, which has now been dubbed as the largest
“cyber security incident” in the world, has affected more than 200 000
organisations, including the NHS, Telefónica, as well as the Russian Interior
Ministry.
As we move into a more digitalized world, Enterprise Outsourcing

(www.securedenterprise.co.za) have seen a rise in cyber security threats and
ransomware attacks.
We would like to assure our clients and friends that to date
Enterprise Outsourcing and Secured Enterprise’s clients have not been affected
by the ransomware attack and that we are vigilant with regards to securing our

would urge companies to bring the following to all desktop users attention:

Do not open unknown emails, especially if they contain links or
attachments
Back up important data. Once data is backed up it can easily be restored.
