1.0 CALL TO ORDER
The President of the Board Mr. Yomi Ayodabo called the meeting to order at 6:05 PM.
2.0 APPROVAL OF AGENDA
The agenda was approved.
3.0 APPROVAL OF REGULAR BOARD MEETING MINUTES
The minutes of November 7, 2016 were approved.
4.0 COMMUNITY COMMENTS AND CONCERNS
None
5.0 CORRESPONDENCE
● Presentation of ICSA Swim Team
Nine members of the ICSA swim team, along with their coach Mrs. Crissy O’ Malley, were introduced
to the board after their recent successful return from a WAISAL tournament in Abuja, Nigeria. The
team comprised of twelve ICSA students took part in nine swims competitions, bringing home a total
of eight medals. The students recounted stories of their preparation, travel, and enjoyment of the
competition and of the camaraderie they have developed as a team. The Board, students, and
teachers in attendance all expressed appreciation for the students’ efforts and great performance.
● Farewell Party for Board member
The Board took this opportunity to say farewell to Mr. Vu Le, who will be departing the country. Vu
has been with the Board since May of 2015. The members expressed their gratitude for his service.

Board Trainer: The President of the Board, Mr. Yomi Ayodabo reminded Board members of the next
board training with Mr. Kevin Bartlett February 25-26 (Saturday and Sunday).
6.2 Director’s Report (see Appendix)
The Director reported on continued efforts to obtain plans for the Sports and Arts Center. The head of
the Buildings & Grounds committee met with one local company and expressed reservations about their
potential implementation of design and their lack of expertise in necessary services. PMTA appears to
be the preferred company, although there are continued reservations about the price quoted, with
ETECO as a viable alternative.
The following decisions was made after Dr. Zeitoun’s ICSA report:

Sports and Arts Center:
Decision: Further negotiate price quote with PMTA.

New Position for 2017-18:
Decision: On the recommendation of the Director, the Board agreed and voted on allowing
the hiring of an additional Math teacher, Physics teacher, and French teacher.
7.0 DATE OF NEXT BOARD MEETING
Wednesday January 18th, 2017 at 6:00PM in the Multi Purpose Room
[Note: this a change from the previously scheduled date of January 16th on request of the Director
due to Martin Luther King Day of Service events scheduled for the 16th]
