Rather than hit you between the ey e es with a hard selling n on copy p ing ng, it is our intention just to say a “hello” to our customers r each month, share r a laug u h or two and then let you get back to your work. A New Era Begins Copies Overnight (our name back t en) was just tw th t o years old and on th t e t reshold of a new era in th th t e graphic arts fi f eld. Digital printing (th t e term hadn’t even been coined yet, hence “copying” f r lack of a better term) was in its fo infa f ncy cy, and we needed to get th t e word out to our clients and prospects. Powerful Communication Tools “We W hav a e alway a s practiced wh w at we preach. Print is th t e most powerfu f l meth t od of communicating a constant marketing message.” says Copresco President and CEO Steve Johnson. Targeted Newsletters “We W hav a e been a longtime advocate of targeted newsletters. They create and build strong relationships by keeping your name in fr f ont of new as well as existing clients.” So, Copresco went to press with t our present-day a fo f rmat with t expanded technical content while maintaining our quick-read and lighth t earted-styl ye tradition. W also added an internet box with We t website addresses fo f r a wide range of interesting fa f cts, fi f gures and oth t er helpfu f l info f rmation. Color Adds Zest Our fi f rst color issue, printed in August 1999, highlighted our digital color cap a ab a il i iti t es fo f r a fu full range of books, pub u lications and manuals. W occasionally printed in color We until we went fu f ll l -color with t each issue in 2000. Our Clients Chip In n 2001, we asked our clients to participate in an important decisionmaking process. A A As a woman came to aid an accident victim, a man said, “Step back please!
