CHLOREP Diamond Leadership Award

Kuehne Company is presented the CHLOREP Diamond Leadership Award by the Chlorine Institute.
Kuehne Company has been supporting the CHLOREP Program for well over a decade. This year marked the
10th Anniversary that the CHLOREP Team training was hosted by the Mississippi State Fire Academy. Together
with other Chlorine Institute, MFA, Rail Roads and other partnerships, emergency responders from all over
North America continue receiving invaluable training.
Team Training is a 5-day intensive training program that is offered on an annual basis at the Mississippi State
Fire Academy. This program combines classroom instruction with hands-on, scenario-based field exercises to
prepare participants for chlorine or other mission chemical emergency response. For the past 10 years Kuehne
has enrolled students and has provided instructors to this exclusive training event. Students attending the
course receive a training experience that cannot be had anywhere else. The instructors, working alongside
some of the best emergency responders in the world, are exposed to such wealth of experience and
knowledge that they continue to learn each year as well. As the secondary CHLOREP Team for sector 4,
Kuehne looks forward in attending this event for years to come.
The CHLOREP Emergency Response mutual aid network is divided into 21 sectors across the U.S. and Canada.
Each sector has a primary team and one or more secondary teams that are available 24/7 to provide a rapid
and effective response to chlorine emergencies. There are more than 80 response teams from 25 member
companies in the network.
