Prolong® fertiliser is a bioactive phosphate fertiliser providing a
natural alternative to traditional fertilisers.
Made using a controlled aerobic process, the resulting bioactive
fertiliser has consistent nutrient content while being without the
harmful pathogens of some alternatives.
The natural action of fungi which are fed a diet of hydrolysed
fish and carbon sources produces a partially digested
phosphate suitable for a range of applications.

Tatura Trial Site
Field trials were conducted by Agriculture
Victoria in irrigated pasture over a three
year period.
The trial program, funded by the Fisheries
Research and Development Corporation
and Incitec Pivot Fertilisers demonstrated
the agronomic effectiveness of Prolong:
• as an effective phosphate fertiliser;
• and as having potential to reduce off
site losses of phosphate.
