We have been so fortunate lately to
have such great weather! I hope it
continues! (Knock on wood!) Please
remember to bring extra socks and
mittens to school so that you can be
dry and comfortable all day long! It is
also a good idea to keep a change
of clothes in your locker just in case!

Rider Reading Month – We will
continue our tracking for Rider
Reading Month this week in the
hopes that we may get a visit from a
Roughrider in the coming weeks! Stay
tuned and keep reading at home! 
Classroom Champions – We looked
into a global issue that is seeing some
attention from scientists recently!
Scientists are working on ideas for
rebuilding the polar ice caps, so we
thought we could also do some work
to conserve energy and prevent
pollution in our own lives! We are
starting with an easy change –
turning off the lights when we are not
in the classroom (i.e., recess time).
