Internship, Private Partnership Division, Rome, Italy The World Food Programme is the world's largest humanitarian agency, fighting hunger worldwide. We are currently seeking to fill an internship position with the Online Fundraising Team of the Private Partnership Division. The position will be based at our Headquarters in Rome, Italy. The Internship will be full-time for a duration of 6 months starting in September 2015. Description We are seeking a self-starter, with a passion for the web technologies and applications and a keen interest in WFP’s work. The selected candidate will assist the Private Partnerships Division’s Online Fundraising team with the following key duties: - Provide input on fundraising campaigns, outreach efforts, and other initiatives; Build email appeals and newsletters using HTML/CSS and propose new ideas to improve current email templates; Test emails to ensure both the content and the layout are accurate before the launch date; Create and edit web content (creating online donation forms, editing graphics, etc.); Monitor live online donation flow from individuals; Participate in quality assurance testing on functionality and user experience design of online donation forms, web pages, and all new online features in coordination with Web team; Support with tracking and reporting on online fundraising campaigns as needed; Other responsibilities to be determined based on interest and experience. Essential Requirements - Currently enrolled or have recently graduated from a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, International Relations, Graphic Design, Web Design or other related fields; - Have completed at least two years of undergraduate study; - Have attended courses in the last 12 months; - Fluent in English; - Working knowledge of Photoshop; - Experience with HTML and UX design, this would be an asset; - Have passion and enthusiasm for WFP’s mission of building a world with Zero hunger. Terms and Conditions - Interns receive a monthly stipend from WFP up to the amount of US$700 per month (depending on the duty station). - WFP is not responsible for living expenses, arrangements for accommodation, travel to and from WFP internship location, and costs related to visas.
