Instructions on how to convert a Word Document into a PDF file

NOTE: If your version of Word does not have this function, please refer to the

To save a document as a PDF File in Microsoft Word:
1. Click on the Window icon in the top left corner of the Word Document you want to
save
2. Hover your mouse over Save As and click on PDF or XPS
3. Choose where you want to save your document on your computer
4. Click on the drop down arrow and choose “PDF (*.pdf)” from the list
5. Name the file
6. Click Save
7. Remember the name of the document and where you saved it so you can find it
to upload into your GoArmyEd eFile.
