The Power of Communion: Receiving the Favor of God

Dear Friend,
The favor of God…it’s an amazing power that’s available to God’s children…yet sadly,
it is a power that too many of us live without.
Now it’s important to understand that the favor of God does not mean
that your life is Dear Friend,
never going to be unfair. What the favor of God does mean is that
when life is unfair, God is going to turn the situation around and what
has been unfair is going to turn to your advantage.
The favor of God means that when you are at a disadvantage, God is
going to give you the advantage. When you are on the brink of defeat
and failure, favor means that God is going to turn it around and give
you the victory…God’s favor means that He is going to give you
success!
If you are like me, you need some of that supernatural favor in your life!
Knowing what God’s favor is leaves us with one big question—how can we enjoy His
favor on our lives? I’m glad that God doesn’t leave us hanging…He gives us the clear
answer in His Word.
Acts 2 tells us the story of the early Church, what they did and how God blessed them.
Acts 2:47 says they had favor with God. That’s what we want. So how did they get it?
They “continued daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to
house.” That’s not talking about eating a meal, it’s talking about communion.
Now maybe you weren’t raised to think of communion this way. But what God is saying
here is that when you drink the cup and take the bread, you are pouring His favor and
blessing into your life! Let me share some exciting stories of what has happened for
people who heard this teaching on the subject of communion and decided to put it into
practice in their lives.

My foot was injured over 2 years ago. The tendon was stretched until it was ready to
rupture. The doctor wanted to operate. I was in so much pain that I was ready for the
doctor to cut or do whatever needed to be done to stop the excruciating pain. I came to
church and you led the congregation in receiving communion. After we finished taking
communion, I sat down and felt these tingling sensations in my foot. After service, I
walked out of the service without any pain! I had suffered excruciating pain for several
months, but after taking communion, my foot was healed!

Like many other companies, mine was laying several people off. However, my husband
and I sowed seeds and took communion for divine favor for my job. In the midst of the
layoffs, I received a promotion! I also received that same week a monetary award from
my boss.

Communion Released Favor in My Situation & Everything Turned Around!
Recently, I was set to close on my first home. My lawyer called me saying I needed to
bring $5000 to pay for closing costs. I was shocked because I wasn’t expecting to pay
this much. I told him I didn’t have $5000. He responded that I had to bring this amount to
close. After I hung up, I decided to take communion and declared that I would receive
favor in the situation. In a short amount of time, my lawyer called me back saying that
they somehow worked it out in my favor and all I needed to bring to the closing was $40!
By the time I arrived to the closing later that day they had made more adjustments and I
was issued a check for the balance that was left over! Thank you for teaching us about the
miraculous power of communion, had you not taught me I would not have known how to
respond in this situation.

Healed of Migraine Headaches and Epilepsy
Since I was quite young, I’ve been having migraine headaches, and in addition to that,
approximately seven years ago, was diagnosed with epilepsy. I would experience a grand
mal seizure. There were times that I would have several episodes in a day; and while the
episodes were not painful, it was obvious they created a great deal of stress. After
listening to your teaching on communion, the exercise of eating and drinking the bread
and the juice became more than just a ritual; it was an encounter with God. A couple of
things that Pastor Dickow said were, “It’s not the repetition or how often you take
communion, but it’s the confidence in it,” and “When we recognize who Christ is, He
will tell us who we are.” I took communion with you, and I literally felt a physical
sensation in my head. As strange as it sounds, I felt as though my brain was being
warmly massaged, and immediately, I knew I had been touched by the Lord. I WAS
HEALED! There wasn’t a doubt in my mind that the Lord had touched me and healed me
at that very moment. Since that time, I haven’t had so much as a hint of a headache. The
migraines are GONE, the seizures are GONE, and my epilepsy medication is GONE.

Declared Not Guilty
I was going through the emotions of guilt and frustration on a particular sin I committed
against God. I prayed and asked God for forgiveness, but I just kept on thinking God had
not forgiven me. That evening when I was overwhelmed with all these thoughts, Pastor

Jesus by taking communion, it begins to work for you.

has been dark becomes light; and what has been failure becomes success.
