Parent Governor Vacancy
Within our Federation, we have a vacancy for a parent governor. Parent
governors play an important role as members of the governing body, who
are responsible for directing the conduct of the school and for promoting
high standards of educational achievement.
We have two parent governor vacancies on our governing body. Currently
one place is filled by a member of the Oakfield community and we have
one vacancy. Under current guidelines the parent governor spaces can be
filled by a parent from either school community but up until now, we have
always managed to have a representative from each school’s parent body.
The term of office for parent governors as determined by the governing
body is 4 years. If you are interested in becoming a parent governor,
please collect an information pack and application form from the school
office.
