This is an assembly manual for replacing parts of the internal mechanism and wire
of the ATOP A-A 14 and A-A 17 systems. There is an assembly manual for replacing COMPLETELY
the ATOP A-A 17 dial at the end of this document.
The first steps are straightforward:

Loosen the screw and release the knob.

Remove the black crown found inside.

Remove the wire reel, found inside the casing fixed to the shoe.
4
Study the route of the wire lace through the reel holes to copy it afterwards with the new wire lace.

Loosen the ties that fix the wire lace to the reel.
6
Pull the wire lace and release it from the reel and reel holes.
7
Cut the new wire lace so it is the same length as the old wire lace.

Fix the new wire lace in place following the memorised route.

From this point onwards, continue using the instructions with the help of the illustrations.

Thread the wire lace into the holes
of the base

Thread the wire lace into the reel
holes in the order of:
Hole 1
Hole 2
Hole 3
Hole 1
Hole 2
Groove
Hole 3
Hole 1
Hole 2
Hole 3

Tighten the wire lace to be fixed it
1.
Press the end of lace and tighten the wire lace which between Hole 3 and Hole 2 (see figure A).

Take the end of wire lace across the middle part of wire lace, then conceal from the first wire lace (see figure B).
Pull wire lace outward from Hole 1, and keep 1 mm distance away from the Hole 1, and cut the rest of wire lace
(see figure C).

Pull tightly outward from Hole 1 and make sure the wire lace is out of the central of circle (see figure D). Please
check it is in accurate location (see figure E).
4.
Repeat the above steps to fasten the other side of wire lace (see figure F).

Please check the L/R knob is settled on the
correct shoes. The left and right knob can’t be
exchanged.
2.
Under the knob has a hexagonal hole which has
to aim at the hexagonal cylinder of base, and inset
the knob into the base.
Fix the knob
1.
Setting the torque wrench on 2.5 kg, and fasten
the screw. Please must make sure the screw is
fastened in vertically.

Testing
1.
Tighten the wire lace in clockwise.
2.
Release the wire lace in anticlockwise.
3.
Pull out the wire lace inside the base.

Repeat the above steps three times, as you
tighten and release the wire lace which runs
smoothly, then it is assembled well.

This is an assembly manual for replacing COMPLETELY the ATOP A-A 17 dial.
Follow these steps to remove the ATOP A-A 17 dial:

To remove the ATOP dial, insert a flat screwdriver or
similar tool into the slot:

Once the clip is out, pull the dial
with your free hand in the direction
shown in figure:

Insert the screwdriver. Move
it slightly to tap the clip out
Put the new ATOP A-A 17 dial following these two simple steps:

Put the back of the dial in place as seen
in figure:

Push the dial down until you hear a
clicking sound.
Replacement has been completed.
