The season had taken its toll with both Kenyon & Gooley not available through injury. Overall the game was quite scrappy with both sides, not always respecting the offside lines. Pilgrims scored first, before the captain Osborne levelled the scores. Pilgrims again took the lead, before Morison scored one of the tries of the season, as he finished off a third phase move that had involved all the players, to level the scores at two tries all. Then the game changed as Westbourne had a try disallowed and Pilgrims scored two tries just before half time. At half time Pilgrims lead 20-10. At the start of the second half Westbourne played some of their best rugby, as they tried to move the ball, however Pilgrims' defence was excellent. Against the run of play Pilgrims scored before Murphy pulled one back. In the final 5 minutes each Westbourne player tried to individually win the match, but could not break through. The POM was the captain: Owen Osborne for his tackling and direct running The MVP was: William Womersley, for his unselfish play. Overall, this has been a very progressive season, and well travelled season with 9 away matches. This season the boys have beaten: Great Walstead, Hurst (twice), St Christophers, Windlesham, Aldro (two win & one draw), Cranleigh (one win & one loss) and Highfield (one win & one loss). Played: 13, Won 9, Drawn 1, Lost 3.
