Sears Established in Mexico since 1947 under the management of the U.S.-based Sears Holding Corporation, Sears Mexico was converted to a 100% Mexican-owned corporation in 2010. Sears Mexico is the second largest department store chain operating 89 stores throughout the country with reported annual sales of approximately $1.3 billion as of 2015. Soriana With reported 2015 sales of approximately $6 billion, Soriana is Mexico’s second largest grocery and general merchandise store chain, operating 825 retail locations across its various formats throughout the country. tiendas Chedraui Chedraui is among Mexico’s largest grocery and general merchandise chains, competing directly with Walmart and Soriana.
