Attention Sophomores: Anyone interested in having their PFEW application go out in the next mailing on Wednesday,
March 16th, please have your application forms completed, signed, and returned in to Ms. Scheidel in the Guidance Office no
later than Tuesday afternoon. This will be the last mailing before the Easter break. Don’t let this opportunity pass you by.
The Undergraduate Women in Computer Science (WICS) at the University of Pennsylvania is hosting a special day-long (8
am to 2:30 pm) information seminar for academically strong female students interested in a career in computer science,
engineering, and related fields. The date is April 8. The program is free, so the sooner you register, the better your chances
of being accepted. If you qualify and are interested, please see Sister Marianna as soon as possible to get the necessary
information. This program would be most beneficial for current juniors, but no age restriction was indicated. Students
currently enrolled and excelling in Honors/AP level math/science courses are the target audience.
The following colleges will be visiting in the spring. Please sign up by the end of 6 th period the day before the college visit in
the Guidance Office.

NHS SENIORS: Please report to the library or Room 315 this week regarding your graduation stoles. $23.00 is due April 1 st if you
are purchasing. If you are borrowing, you need to let the moderators know.
NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY TUTORING: Hello students! Did you know tutoring is available during your lunch periods in
the Library? Sign up in the Library or in the Guidance Office. All those signed-up, should be reporting to the Library.

BEST BUDDIES: Best Buddies will be selling “Disable the Label” tee shirts for “Spread the Word to End the Word” week April 1821. Dress down day will be on April 21st when the shirts may be worn. Shirts are $10 and order forms are available in the Main Office.
Orders and money are due by Friday, March 18th in room 326.
ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE CLUB: Environmental Science Club will meet this Thursday at 2:30 in room 311.
