Eziform™ Half Round Gutter 1 Eziform™ Half-Round Gutter Eziform™ Half-Round Gutter from Eziform Sheet Metal has a clean, contemporary profile that complements any architectural style and suits both domestic and commercial applications. With a wide range of sizes from 100mm diameter to 450mm, and custom cut lengths up to 6 metres, Eziform™ Half-Round Gutter provides flexibility of installation on site and minimum wastage. The smooth pressed, non-segmented profile eliminates square corners and prevents the build-up of water and dirt. The curved base of the profile creates a faster flow of water, as the water is channelled to the centre of the gutter, maximising drainage performance over most other gutter profiles. Selection & Specification Standard Eziform™ Half-Round Gutters are manufactured from 0.55mm bmt ZINCALUME® and COLORBOND® material. Heavier gauges of ZINCALUME® as well as stainless steel are also available, in plain profiles without the front bead. Brackets Heavy duty type A4 brackets are manufactured in aluminium with a powder coated finish for all size gutters. Accessories A full range of standard and custom rainwater heads and downpipes is available and can be fabricated from a wide range of materials to suit the Eziform™ Half-Round Gutter. Downpipes Downpipes must have sufficient capacity to allow for gutter drainage. They can be manufactured in all materials in lengths up to 4 metres (150 and 200mm diameter) and 3 metres (90 and 100mm diameter). Flat-Back Profile Eziform™ Half-Round Gutters are also available with a flat back profile. Please specify at the time of ordering. Specific data for any location can be obtained from the Australian Bureau of Meteorology. Fall Gutter Capacity A gutter fall of not less than 1:500 is recommended. For any given roof area, the larger the gutter, the fewer downpipes required, as indicated in the table (opposite). Catchment area calculations must take the roof slope into account. For Half-Round Gutters larger than 225mm in diameter, hydraulic design must be carried out by a suitably qualified person to determine the number and size of downpipes required. 5 Ordering & Handling Ordering Eziform™ Half-Round Gutter can be ordered directly from Eziform Sheet Metal or Stramit Building Products, through distributors, or supplied and fixed by a roofing contractor. Handling/Storage Eziform™ Half-Round Gutter and accessories should be handled with care at all times to preserve the product’s performance and the quality of the finish. Packs should always be kept dry and stored above ground level while on site. If the materials become wet, they should be separated, wiped and placed in the open to promote drying. Cutting If cutting is required, use a power saw with a steel cutting blade or a power nibbler and, for localised cutting, tin snips. Avoid the use of abrasive discs, which can create burred edges and coating damage. Please dispose of off-cuts carefully.
