MTBA REGIONAL TOURNAMENTS
AND HOW WE ARE DOING
Thanks to all of our club members
who are participating and having fun
at these tournaments! At the April 2
Field Round at Mt Madonna there
were 10 SCA archers and we placed
2nd in number of points.
At the May 21 Unmarked 3D at Bowhunters Unlimited
we had 12 or more SCA archers out of 33 attending
and it looks like we will be scoring the highest points
there. We have a total of 15 archers participating in
these tournaments so far and 7 have shot in both. We
welcome others to join the fun! Your participation will
help us to win the 2017 MTBA Club of the Year. Each
person who is a registered archer with our club and
MTBA will earn at least 1 point for their signed
scorecard. This year there will also be special ribbons

Work continues after the storms. Weed-whacking,
clearing fallen trees and branches, target, bow rack,
bridge and step repairs. Thanks to all who have taken
on one or more of these important tasks! It sure
would be nice to see all the roads leveled and holes
filled, including the erosion problem on the practice
range. It takes help from many club members to get it
all done. If you can help with any special work needed
at our range, contact President, Andy Sterbenz, or
Outdoor Range Captain, Tyson Sheppard. Tyson has a
few additional requests for members. 1. Please
maintain your target area or sign up to maintain one
that is not yet claimed. (The target sign-up sheet is
hanging on indoor range back wall) 2. When leaving
Target 28 carry an old board down to wood trash pile
below. From Andy: We always need help picking up
garbage and taking full garbage bags from the range.
We do not have garbage and recycling service here.
It’s all volunteer help to keep the range clean.
Working members track
your hours in the log book
Working members are required to contribute 16 hours
of service per year. Locate the red notebook hanging
on the back wall of the indoor range. Log your hours on
the page that matches your last initial. Thank you!
