NEW! 20 cm Survey Chamber For Use With the LI-8100 Automated Soil CO2 Flux System LI-COR’s latest addition to the versatile LI-8100 Automated Soil CO2 Flux System is the 20 cm (8”) Survey Chamber (8100-103). The 20 cm Survey Chamber utilizes the same pressure/vacuum bellows system used in the 10 cm (4”) Survey Chamber (8100-102) to raise and lower the chamber over the soil collar. Its larger size, however, allows the chamber to be placed on the 20 cm soil collars used with the LI-8100 Long-Term Chamber. ● ● ● ● Provides measurements of spatial variability on the same soil collars as are used for temporal measurements Full integration with existing LI-8100 Systems Same experimental protocols, no software changes Large exposed soil area (317.8 cm2) The combination of this new Survey Chamber and the Long-Term Chamber provides a complete package for both repeatable survey and continuous long-term measurements; this allows scientists to characterize both spatial and temporal variation in soil CO2 flux. Specifications System Volume: 4843 cm3 Soil Area Exposed: 317.8 cm2 (49.3 in.2) Dimensions: 28.7 cm L × 28.7 cm W × 29.2 cm H (11.3” × 11.3” × 11.5”) Air temperature thermistor Operating Range: -20 to 45 °C Accuracy: ± 0.5 °C over 0-70 °C Cable length: 1.01 m (40”) Weight: 2.9 kg (6.4 lb.)
