COURSE ETIQUETTE
The attention of all members and particularly beginners is
drawn to the Rules of Golf – Section 1 which sets our Courtesy
Rules, and Local Rules of Priority as set out herein. In the
interest of all using the course, members are requested to abide
by these rules.
Standard of Dress
Neat dress essential
Course
• Track suits, jeans, runners singlets are not permitted.
• Golf shoes must be worn.
• Tailored shorts only permitted and must be accompanied by
sports socks.
Clubhouse
• Golf shoes, runners, mens shorts, caps, jeans, track suits are
not permitted.
• Ladies fashion shorts are permitted.
Kindly Note the Following:
Captains Honour
The Captains have precedence on the first tee.
Recording Scores
After each hole the marker shall check and record the score
with the competitor. The competitor is solely responsible for the
correctness of the score recorded for each hole.
Slow Play
Slow play spoils the enjoyment of other players. Please play at
a rate that will hold your place on the course and, if necessary,
remind those playing with you to do the same. If you are
holding up players behind, you must speed up or allow them to
go through.
Car Parking
Members are requested to park cars in an orderly fashion in
order to utilise the marked spaces to the maximum extent.
ORDER OF PLAY
1.
Equal rights at all times for male and female ordinary
members except as follows:
Sunday: The course shall be reserved for male
members during hours to be specified by the
Committee following consultation with the Committee
of the Mens’ Club.
2.
Tuesday: The course shall be reserved for female
members during hours to be specified by the
Committee following consultation with the Committee
of the Ladies’ Club.
Junior/Students Members
may commence play at the following times:
Monday to Friday: 8.00am – 1.00pm
Saturday 3.30pm – 5.00pm
In addition, Junior members may play with parents
outside these times, but shall give way to ordinary
members.
