Dear Katharine
Please find the document I would like the Inspector to review. It is in PDF format, and has
1928 words.
I am away on a business trip, so will not be able to send you hard copies. I will ask our
Councillor to do it instead.
It is unfortunate that the Inspector did not get to see the original submissions. The quality of
the research informing the plan was unacceptable and there were 70 responses from residents
objecting to the process and the quality of the plan.
None of the objections were adequately addressed in the second version of the plan, as far as
Coley Farm land is concerned. However, some of the residents did not write again, as they
felt that they explained everything in their first responses, which Inspector will not get to see.
Also, the first consultation had a petition with 525 signatures against including Coley Farm in
the plan.
PLease explain this to Inspector.
Also, for your information, if the decision to build on the Coley farm is made, we believe that
lives will be lost on the Stoney Lane, properties will be damaged from floods and landscape
will be ruined.
I do hope that making the right decision is more important to you and the Inspector than
technicalities...
Regards
Veronica

Dear Veronica,
Thank-you for your email and attachments. I regret that it will not be possible for you to
deliver a powerpoint presentation at the public hearing session. The format for the session
is that of a round table discussion, as described in the Guidance Note circulated to all
respondents on 29 April and attached for your convenience. Paragraphs 15 to 20 refer to
the hearing sessions and make it clear that there will be no formal presentation of
evidence. The Guidance Note also makes clear in paragraphs 32 and 33, and in more
detail in Appendix B, what the requirements are for submission of further statements and
that these should be in word or pdf format and no longer than 3,000 words.
I regret that I cannot accept your power point presentation as a statement and must ask you
to resubmit it in the correct format, so that it can be published in advance on the website
along with all the others received. I must also ask you to send three hard copies by the
deadline of 12 noon on Monday 23 May 2016 as requested in the Guidance Note – it is not
permitted to table documents on the day.
In respect of your previous representation on the Proposed Submission DPD dated 19
November 2015, this has already been sent to the Inspector along with the online form you
completed on 18 December 2015. The Inspector has based his ‘Issues and Questions’
document on the representations received. I attach a copy of this for your convenience, but
this too was circulated to all respondents with my email of 29 April. The Inspector has not
received copies of the Preferred Option representations from 2014 as these relate to an
earlier draft of the DPD which is not under Examination.
I will be in the office on Monday if you have any questions.
Kind regards,
Katharine

Dear Katharine
Please find attached a presentation that I would like to discuss with the Inspector, submitted
before the 23d May, as requested.
It would be very helpful if you could arrange for a projector for me to present it.
If not possible, I will bring print outs.
Could you please make sure that Inspector is familiar with the content of this presentation as
well as the two letters I submitted to the first and second rounds of consultation process.
Thanks a lot,
Regards
