The 3.1 mile course begins in front of the Washington Park Zoo
Start at Pavilion on Lake Shore Drive
Lake Shore Drive to Center St
Left on Fogarty St to Oming St
Left to Arndt St, follow around to South Lake Ave and turn left
Right on Lake Shore Drive
At Stop 9, make a U-turn and come back South on Lake Shore Dr to Nevada
Ave
Turn Right, go over sand dune to the beach
Turn left down the shore line where an official will direct you to the
parking area finish line
There is a water table at the 1 & 2 mile mark
Beer stop at the 2 ½ mile mark
Sprint times at the 1 & 2 mile mark

Directions to the Zoo
From I-94, take Hwy 421 North exit. Continue on 421/Franklin St North to
Fourth St. Which dead –ends at the Michigan City Public Library, Turn
right, to stop sign. Turn left onto Pine St and continue north over Trail
Creek Bridge. Follow curving Lake Shore Drive to the 2nd entrance to
Washington Park, which is directly across the street from the Zoo. Parking
lot is just off Lake Shore Drive.
