Charity no. 233699] Fourth Sunday of Easter – page 262 Dear Parishioners, This Sunday afternoon we welcome Bishop John Sherrington to administer the Sacrament of Confirmation to the young people of our parish. Please keep them and their families in your prayers at this important time. This Sunday is also a day when we pray for vocations. Each of us has our own particular vocation, our own call from God to use the gifts that he has entrusted to us in order to bring personal fulfilment, and to make his love visible in our world. We pray that the gifts of the Holy Spirit, which our young people are to receive this Sunday, will help each of them to find their path to fulfilment and peace. In praying for vocations, we pray especially that those called by the Lord to priesthood and religious life will respond with courage and generosity. May God bless you all, Fr John Dermody.
