FRAME-MOUNTED DOORS
Spacesaver’s frame-mounted doors can be utilized in a variety of applications to meet a wide range of
storage needs. Three door types—single-wall, double-wall, and window— combine to create a complete
line-up, providing distinct features and options that can be installed on Spacesaver’s 4-post and casetype shelving and welded cabinets. The same shelving systems, when used in conjunction with framemounted doors, create flexible, adaptable cabinets that can be used for both static shelving applications
or with mobile shelving systems.

FRAME-MOUNTED DOOR TYPES:
SINGLE-WALL
The most foundational of the door types, the single-wall frame-mounted door is available as a solid panel
reinforced with interior supports. Items stored behind the door are not visible.
DOUBLE-WALL
The double-wall frame-mounted door is offered in four distinct panel types: solid, offset diamondperforated, aligned diamond-perforated, and louvered panel. These types are important based on
visibility needs—the solid and louvered panel types create zero visibility, while the offset diamondperforated panel type restricts visibility and the aligned diamond-perforated provides increased visibility.
WINDOW
Designed with an external welded panel with four internal supports, the window frame-mounted door
is offered in four distinct panel types. Single diamond-perforated and single round-perforated offer
increased visibility and ventilation, while the glass and acrylic doors promote complete visibility.

Frame-mounted Doors
FEATURES:
CONFIGURABILITY
Creating a storage solution with frame-mounted doors on 4-post and casetype shelving and welded cabinets, the configurations are unlimited. The
doors can be configured to have stacked doors, creating multiple cabinets
within a single shelving unit.
RIGIDITY
With 18- or 20-gauge steel construction and four-sided frame design, the
frame-mounted doors have unrivaled strength and durability.
VERSATILITY
A variety of options in door size, panel type, handle, paint colors, and locks
create endless configurations for cabinets.
SECURITY
The doors provide a variety of lock options for cabinet security. Choices
of no lock, keyed lock, or electronic lock are available for all door types,
with double-wall and window doors offering an additional hasp for padlock
option.
CUSTOMIZATION
In addition to the options provided, frame-mounted doors also have a variety
of panel options and paint colors to match your specific environment.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
SINGLE-WALL
The single-wall frame-mounted door is manufactured with 20-gauge steel and is only available in a solid panel that is reinforced with interior supports
to provide rigidity.
DOUBLE-WALL
The double-wall frame-mounted door is manufactured with 18-gauge steel and is available in four panel options:
• The solid panel is welded with two steel panels to provide strength and durability. Items stored behind solid panel doors are not visible.
• The offset diamond-perforated panel is welded with two diamond-perforated panels that are offset. The offset of the perforation provides
ventilation and restricted visibility to items stored behind the door.
• The aligned diamond-perforated panel is welded with two diamond-perforated panels that are aligned. This provides ventilation and increased
visibility.
• The louvered panel is welded with two steel panels with the exterior panel louvered and a pegboard interior panel. This panel provides ventilation
and zero visibility to items stored.
WINDOW
The window frame-mounted door is manufactured with 18-gauge steel and designed with an external welded panel with four internal supports. It is
available in four panel options:
• The single diamond perforation is welded with a single diamond-perforated panel. The single perforation provides ventilation and increased
visibility.
• The single round perforation is welded with a single round-perforated panel. Similar to the diamond, the round perforation provides ventilation
and increased visibility.
• The glass and acrylic panels provide complete visibility to items stored behind the door.
