Parents: If your child can not yet read, you may make note of time spent reading to her/him. After reading for 15 minutes, color in one shape. After reading for one hour (four blocks of 15 minutes) and coloring in four shapes, you may come to the library with this sheet and pick a prize! After reading another hour and coloring in four more shapes, you can come to the library with this sheet and pick another prize⦠and on an on. After reading for 10 hours and coloring in the full sheet, you can get another time log and repeat it all over again as many times as you possibly can. Do not lose these logs! Bring the logs to the Summer Reading Bash at 6 pm July 28. This party is for the Kids Summer Reading Program participants and their families. At the party, whoever has read the greatest number of minutes will get the best prize. Expect a cake, a piñata, a free raffle, and plenty of prizes at the party. Call 289-3599 with questions.
