What is the order of the party?
The art project led by the instructor will take place first, followed by full use of the studio space
for additional activities led by the party host.
What kinds of food am I permitted to bring to a Milton Centre for the Arts birthday party?
Typical foods include cake and finger foods such as sandwiches, pizza, vegetable or fruit trays.
Food must meet the Halton Region Health Department food safety guidelines and as such, we
strongly recommend commercially prepared foods.
The Milton Centre for the Arts tries to maintain a nut-free environment in its studio spaces.
Is there a coffee maker or kettle on site?
There is a coffee maker and kettle on site, however, the hosting family must provide all
necessary supplies including coffee, tea, milk/cream, sugar, cups and utensils.
When is the best time to arrive for set-up?
The host should arrive no earlier than 15 to 20 minutes before the scheduled party start.
Where do we go the day of the party?
The studios are located on the second floor of the Milton Centre for the Arts. The room will be
available 15-20 minutes prior to the start of your party for set-up; an art instructor will meet you
there.
In what ways are the adults expected to supervise?
Adults are responsible for ensuring a positive experience, by taking a pro-active role in the
birthday party experience by offering assistance, monitoring appropriate behaviour of party
guests and siblings, and respecting the Milton Centre for the Arts art facilities, materials and
staff.
Why does it say that only 7 adults are included in the package price?
In our experience, fewer adults are less distracting to children participating in the art activity. For
the best guest experience, we encourage adults to take an active role in supervising. Looking to
accommodate more guests? We have room rentals to accommodate up to 150 people. For
further information contact us at 905-875-5418, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 4:45 pm.

and they are included in your adult count.
