3. Start Microsoft Word and create a document for Journal Entries (Name &

6. Save Journal as Journal 1 in IBA folder
7. Pin Publisher to the Taskbar
8. Open Publisher and model the set up for a Quick Publication that will be
needed to create a flyer. Students will work along at their computers using their
About Me Sentence Starter sheets.

10. Log off and Tidy Workstation

Students will log in and complete day 2 of Journal 1…monitor students as
they work.
2. Open Flyer 1 in Publisher and continue working
3. Go over directions for formatting in Publisher and making changes
