Learning challenge – Can you tackle the Highwayman?
Please choose one piece of homework every two weeks. Each piece is worth a different amount of house points.
Our topic this term is a heritage project that doesn’t lend itself easily to any homework tasks, whilst our science topic is about material
changes and again very difficult to fit into manageable homework tasks. Therefore, your homework tasks for this half term are based
around the narrative poem ‘The Highwayman’ by Alfred Noyes, which we are studying in English. It is easily available on the internet, but if
you would like a paper copy to assist with the homework, just ask and we will provide one.

it into an appropriate shape poem?

decide what you would buy for your
party and created costed shopping list.

would be excellent if you could. Maybe
the Highwayman could survive and
escape with Bess. Or Bess might
survive and finally fall in love with Tim.
