SCHEDULE OF CONDITIONS OF LICENCE
1. The number of dogs accommodated in the establishment at any one time shall not exceed ......... Each dog must be
provided with a separate kennel except that two dogs from the same household may share a kennel of adequate size
with the written consent of the dogs' owner.
2. The number of cats accommodated in the establishment at any one time shall not exceed .......... Each cat must be
provided with a separate unit except that two cats from the same household may share a unit of adequate size with
the written consent of the cats' owner.
3. Animals will, at all times, be kept in accommodation suitable as respects construction, size of quarters, numbers of
occupants, exercising facilities, temperature, lighting, ventilation and cleanliness.
4. Animals will be adequately supplied with food, drink and bedding material, be adequately exercised and visited at
suitable intervals.
5. All reasonable precautions will be taken to prevent and control the spread among animals of infectious or contagious
diseases, including the provision of adequate isolation facilities.
6. Appropriate steps will be taken for the protection of the animals in case of fire or other emergency.
7. A register will be kept of all animals boarded. The information to be kept will include the date of arrival and departure
and the name and address of the owner. The register will be available for inspection at all times by an officer of The
Moray Council or by a veterinary practitioner authorised under Section 2(1) of the Animal Boarding Establishments Act
1963.
8. A copy of the Licence and its conditions must be suitably displayed to the public in a prominent position within the
establishment.
