Specializing in the uniquely American Barbershop Harmony art form, PCH sings music that spans from the Great American Songbook, Broadway theater and film, to popular traditional pieces, and beyond. Following the retirement of founding Master Director and International multi-gold medalist, Kim Vaughn, in October, PCH has been under the musical guidance of Royce Ferguson, an acclaimed International gold medal quartet and chorus director in his own right. PCH is uniquely composed of dedicated men who love to sing, all volunteers. If you are a man who loves to sing, or know someone who would enjoy the thrill of ringing chords and bringing joy to enthusiastic audiences of all ages, PCH is now accepting new members for the upcoming concert season. Give the gift of singing and let’s share the joy of music together in San Diego. Pacific Coast Harmony is delighted to be joined by Royce’s Voices for these Holiday Concerts. PCH wishes to thank you, our generous and devoted patrons. You make the music possible. PCH continues its mission of enriching our local community with performances and educational programs as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Founded in 1998 by Royce Ferguson as part of the San Diego State University Community Music School, the group was initially called America’s Finest City Singers. As word spread about this ensemble however, a short and fun nickname quickly appeared – Royce’s Voices – and the name stuck. The men of Royce’s Voices hold a very special place in their hearts for the Holiday Season. Through the years, Royce’s Voices has performed in many San Diego venues, including Copley Symphony Hall, the Neurosciences Institute, Mandeville Auditorium and many more. Of all of these wonderful performances, a treasured highlight of the year is always performing at Balboa Park as part of the festive December Nights events. Today, Royce’s Voices is excited to add Hashinger Hall to their venue list and the privilege to share with you the joy that only a cappella music of the Holidays can present. Thank you for kicking off your Holiday Season with us. Enjoy!
